Factors Affecting Mid-Old Age`s Preparation£º An application of the Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine predictors of move intention to Age`s preparation. Participants completed a questionnaire which included measures of socioeconomic variables, variables of the¡¡theory of planned behavior. The data was collected from 225 over the middle aged of 40-65 in South Korea. This study was examined by statistical analysis on SPSS program 18.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, the attitude of middle aged have a positive effect on preparation for retirement. Second, the subjective norm of middle aged have a positive effect on preparation for retirement. Third, the perceived behavioral control of middle aged positively effect on preparation for retirement. The results of this study prove that attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control is part of the theory of planned behavior. The results of this study prove that attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control is part of the theory of planned behavior. According to these results, this study proposed practice and policy suggestions to improve their future life. These findings will be useful to policy makers and service providers for improving the current policies and services in order to prepare for aging.
